Tredyffrin Township's Foundation for Parks and Recreation is dedicated to assisting the Tredyffrin community improve and expand its system of public parks, recreational facilities, pedestrian trails and open space.
In addition, it is organized to assist the Township in providing appropriate recreational and other programs that contribute to the quality of life for township residents and businesses.
The Foundation is administered by a citizen board of trustees whose principal purpose is raising and allocating funds for the parks and programs.

Tredyffrin Township’s Foundation for Parks and Recreation is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation formed in 2009. It has been determined by the Internal Revenue Service to be a tax-exempt organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, contributions to which are deductible for federal income tax purposes to the extent provided by law. The Foundation is independent of Tredyffrin Township, but the primary charitable mission of the Foundation is to support recreational and cultural activities in the Township’s parks and open spaces. The Foundation does not own, control or regulate the Township’s parks and open spaces and has no responsibility for the maintenance or use thereof.
